By Train

If you are traveling by train, you will arrive at Union Station and can take a taxi for the approximate cost of $7. You can also take the Metro Red Line (heading toward Shady Grove). When you reach the Metro Center stop, transfer to the Blue Line (heading toward Franconia-Springfield) or the Orange Line (heading towards Vienna). Exit at the stop marked Foggy Bottom-GWU.  When you get out of the Metro station head across the street on I street for one block and then south for two blocks to Duques/Funger Halls, across the street from the Smith Center. By METRO

If you are traveling by Metro to campus, exit at the stop marked Foggy Bottom/GWU. As you exit the station, you will be at 23rd and I Streets. Walk one block East on I Street, then about two blocks South on 22nd and it is on your right.  Funger Hall 103 is across the street from the Smith Center. (see map at the bottom of the page)

By Car

From North
Take I-95 South to I-495 West (Beltway) toward Silver Spring. Continue on I-495 West and take the George Washington Memorial South. Take the Roosevelt Bridge across the Potomac River into downtown. Follow signs for the E Street NW exit. Turn left onto Virginia Avenue NW and proceed one block to a right onto 22nd Street NW. Park under the Engineering and Science building at 22nd and H, 800 22nd St, NW. The unconference starts in Funger Hall 103, 2201 G Street, NW.

From Northwest
Take I-270 South to I-495 South (Beltway). Continue on I-495 West and take the George Washington Memorial South. Take the Roosevelt Bridge across the Potomac River into downtown. Follow signs for the E Street NW exit. Turn left onto Virginia Avenue NW and proceed one block to a right onto 22nd Street NW. Parking under the Engineering and Science building is at 22nd and H, 800 22nd St, NW. From West
Take I-66 East. Take the Roosevelt Bridge across the Potomac River into downtown. Follow signs for the E Street NW exit. From South
Take I-95 North. Upon reaching I-495 (Beltway), continue straight and the road becomes I-395. Follow signs for the George Washington Memorial Parkway North. At traffic circle, turn right and proceed across Memorial Bridge; follow road around Lincoln Memorial. Turn left onto 23rd Street NW. Turn right onto F Street NW. Proceed one block and turn left onto 22nd Street NW. Parking under the Engineering and Science building is at 22nd and H, 800 22nd St, NW.
