Stephen Brown
My name is Stephen Brown and I am a junior studying finance at the George Washington University School of Business. I am also minoring in History which has led me to stumble upon DC THATCamp 2017. My love for history started when I was young, visiting national historical landmarks and battlefields with my Dad and Grandfather. This led to my eventual history minor and my subsequent enrollment in a Digital History course this semester, taught by Dr. Diane Harris Cline. The course is centered around assisting the national archives in transcribing thousands of documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Besides history, I'm also a lover of the ocean, having grown up at the Jersey Shore and working as an ocean rescue lifeguard for five summers.
